JAILBIRD
Jailbird

Graphic Design by Yahzmine Clayton
One of the most important events in the history of American politics occurred behind bars - and most have never heard of it. In the heat of the 1920 election Eugene Debs, a political prisoner of Woodrow Wilson, ran for President of the United States and won a million votes. In collaboration with the Eugene V. Debs Foundation, Monument is proud to shed light on one of Indiana's greatest sons and the father of American Socialism right in his hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana.
